MBKS launches another SDG campaign to end hunger by 2030

Kuching South City Council (MBKS) launched the second sustainable development goals (SDG) campaign, with the theme zero hunger.
Initiated by the council, the latest campaign is organised by JCI Kuching and sponsored by YAST Group.
“The JCI members have been pushing for this cause. Therefore, we will try to get the support from the private sector which is more than willing to help support this cause to make the world more sustainable and also environmentally-friendly.” ~ Datuk Wee Hong Seng, MBKS mayor
“We unite all sectors to create solutions and positive changes. What the young leaders of JCI are doing is investing their time and energy, with the support of their leaders and resources to build and create this opportunity to give back to the community. Therefore, what we are called to do is to retribute such efforts to continuously improve the lifestyle of Kuching citizens.” ~ Argenis Angulo, JCI 2022 World President
“YAST Group pledged to support JCI Kuching to ensure the movement remains as a role model for the community.” ~ Esther Law Lee Poh, founder and chairlady, YAST Group
